I have a lot of memories of school. I went to a Catholic Kindergarten, and 4 Elementary schools. The most intersting Elementary school was Cunningham Elementary in Aurora Colorado. It was an experemental year round school, and they also had open class rooms. 1st-3rd grade in one big area and 4th-6th grade in another. It was a little scary at first but I do remember it being a pretty good school. Some of the fun things I remember was the we had a big school sleep over, we got to go skiing and we also had a school garden that we all helped with. I had a crush and one of my teachers (yes it was a man) Mr. Vokal and I still remember a report I did in his class on PT109, the boat the JFK was on in the war. I also had a crazy friend named Michelle Krodell. She stabbed me just an 1/8 of an inch below my eye with a pencil and she also made me fall off a balance beam, breaking one of the few bones I have ever broke in my life, my foot. I think that's why I have such wide "Barney Rubble" feet to this day. Every time I hear the Beatles song "Michelle my Belle" I think of her. I also remember a 2nd grade teacher I had named Mrs. Colburn. She had a big hairy mole on her face, so when I ended up with a small mole on my face, I was always very self conscious of it. I finally got he nerve to have it taken off last year, and still worry about hair coming out of where is was. There are a few other things I remember, but one of the most frightening, was my brothers 5th grade teach Mrs. Hutner (Hitler) She would threaten the kids in her class by saying that she "would cut off their heads and roll them down the hall like a bowling ball" SCARY!!! Don't ever say that to a kid, I have been scared by that my whole life!

Wow, you have quite the memory. Not all the best ones. You always want your kids to have good memories of school. I guess you need to help Tanner have the best ones he can.
I LOVE that pic of you by the way. Ok, um yah teacher Hitler sounds more than scary, um maybe check the most wanted and see if she is there! Sheesh, who says those kinds of things to kids. Good job!
