Sicky Sophie

We had quite a scare with our little Sophie yesterday. We took her to get her second set of shots to the Vet in Orem. On the way home she threw-up, and then again several more times once we got her home. Tanner noticed that her nose and eyes were a little swollen, and it was a good thing that he did. Because of that Matthew decide he should call the Vet to see what if anything we should do. The Vet wanted us to bring her back to the clinic. Right when we got there the Vet looked at her gums. He determined that she was going into shock and he took her ito the back very quickly to get an IV going in her little leg. It was very scary and extremly sad to see her in such pain. She had to keep the IV in for an hour our so, and then we were able to take her home. According to several specialists, Sophie is apperantly allergic to vaccinations. I guess in the future we will have to premedicate her with benydryl before her next set of shots.
