We had Brighton's 1st Birthday party on Saturday. The original plan was to have a big pool party with lot's of people. As it got closer, we discovered that several of the invited guest had other things going on, so we changed the time. Then the day before the party we found out that the pool was not going to be opened that day. So needless to say the party didn't go as planned, changing the time and not swimming must have kept a lot of people away, cause we didn't have too many there. We did have a great time and I can't believe that my little "bugger boo" is ONE!
Brittany got Brighton some squeaky shoes. His feet are so chunky that it has been difficult to find shoes that fit him. He will be walking before we know it.

Brittany was outside cooking the hamburgers and Brighton could see her. He got a little anxious when he couldn't get to her, so she bent down to say hi by putting her hand to the window.

and....AFTER. He wasn't too happy with all the mess, but when Brittany was cleaning him up in the sink, he was still trying to eat it.
