I had an excellent time with my family at the Festival of Trees this past Saturday. Every year I say I want to go and then never find the time. I decided that this year I would make the time. Going to the Festival is such a great reminder of how truly blessed my family is. Each of these amazing trees is decorated and donated by friends and families of those who have either passed this life or are in the process of some sort of recovery. In both cases tragedy has stuck these families, and it is so inspiring to see the support rallying around these individuals. Each of these trees has a story, and even the most basic to the most elaborate has a group of people that are willing to sacrifice their time and money to then support another cause, The Primary Children’s Hospital. I am a true believer of service and support and I am glad that I was able to experience an event that advocates that.

This just about killed Tanner, he is waaayyyyy to cool for this

Tanner loves his nephews, and Hunter thinks he is the coolest uncle ever!

Tanner helped Hunter do some crafts, this just about killed him too!

Brighton is almost as big as Hunter
Brighton is almost as big as Shayla

Brighton is almost as big as Santa too, and he knows how to pull his beard. I almost think it made Santa cry a little! Who's on the naughty list now?

I am glad you were able to go to the festival of trees this year. You know Jennifer, we are all thankful for the Primary Children's Hospital. They were there when we needed help when you were two and you got burned. You were in there 7 weeks and the hospital and Dr. covered all the expenses. We will be forever grateful to them.
We sure did have fun, wished we would have hung out a little more!
